What's included

Your choice of guided excursions in every port, all meals including a night at The Chef’s Table, wine, beer and soft drinks with lunch and dinner, a daily Sip & Sail cocktail hour, Wi-Fi, bikes to explore on your own, and wellness classes on board. Many staterooms have AmaWaterways’ signature twin balconies, with both a French balcony and a step-out balcony.

Questions I get asked

AmaWaterways or Viking: which is right for me?

Both are excellent. Viking is adults-only and very consistent from ship to ship. AmaWaterways welcomes families and gives you more excursion choices each day, including active tours. I know both lines well and will help you pick the one that fits.

Can I bring my kids or grandkids?

Yes. AmaWaterways welcomes multi-generational families and offers select family-friendly sailings. Ask me which departures work best for younger travelers.

What happens if river levels are too high or low?

It happens occasionally. The line may swap ships, adjust the route or use motorcoaches to keep you on schedule. I’ll keep you updated and help with any changes.
